As part of its continuing 30th anniversary celebration, homegrown Ilonggo brand Carlos Bakeshop introduces something 'Bigatin' for mothers - the Big Loaf.

True to its name, Carlo's Big Loaf is the heaviest loaf in the market at 720 grams. It is 50 grams or more heavier than other loaves sold in any bread store in Panay, at the same price of only P57.50!

Aside from it being the heftiest of loaves, Carlo's Big Loaf also tastes good even without palaman, very soft, has a buttery smell and guaranteed freshly baked everytime you see it in the supermarket!

“Consumers are changing and of course, you know even tastes change,” says Paolo Sarabia Trenas, Marketing Director of Carlo’s Bakeshop.

“We keep making new products and improving on old favorites to cater to the ever altering needs of the consumers. Nowadays, with rising costs, mothers worry about feeding their family with good food, but making sure they are within budget. A practical mother is the super star of the family. ”

Bigger and with more slices now, mothers can now provide for breakfast, school baon, and merienda for the family. Carlo’s Big Loaf is indeed BIGATIN in weight and savings.

Definitely, practical Ilongga mothers will choose the loaf with bright orange packaging while doing their usual rounds at Iloilo and Panay's leading supermarkets!

Carlo’s Bakeshop at 30 years

Carlo’s Bakeshop is on its 30th year of business in Panay Island. It has grown from its initial offer of cakes to now include breads and pastries, aside from merienda, pasta, and other dishes.

Carlo’s has embarked on a series of activities to celebrate their year-long anniversary and has given back to the loyal consumers. Earlier this year, they launched new line of products in their All Occasion Rolls Collection. They have also joined the Iloilo City government’s Bulawanon nga Nanay project last May to honor the mothers of Iloilo.

As a way of giving back to their loyal customers, Carlo’s has an ongoing Anniversary Blow Out promo where P35,000.00 worth of prizes such as a kitchen showcase, flat TV and washing machines are to be raffled away before the end of the year.
