More health-conscious Filipinos can now enjoy the premium tea blends of Al Di Foods as the company expands its online market. The Iloilo-based company relaunched its Lazada and Shopee stores for a more delightful consumer experience.

The Covid-19 pandemic raised awareness among Filipinos on the benefits of boosting the immune system. With its flagship product Al Di Turmeric Tea, Al Di Foods increased sales even with the pandemic. Curcumin, the major component of turmeric, has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

In order to make their products more accessible to Filipinos nationwide, the company improved and expanded its online market presence. Seeing the need to focus more in the manufacturing of their products, Al Di Foods engaged the services of Vijaya Merchant Solutions, Inc. (VMSI), a Bacolod-based e-commerce enabler, in the set-up and operation of its online stores. VMSI is the first e-commerce enabler in Vismin whose founders have extensive experience in e-commerce and dedicated to empowering VisMin brands.

Al Di Foods, our preferred brand for turmeric tea and other healthy products, is now available online via Lazada and Shopee.

Maria Antonia Fatima Alvañez-Diosaban started Al Di Foods in 2014. She named the company “Al Di” after her last names and also because “haldi” is an Indian word for turmeric. Al Di Foods sought assistance from government agencies such as DOST and DTI in order to make their products more competitive. Through the help of these agencies, Al Di Foods was able to grow its capability and capacity as a food and beverage manufacturer. From its humble beginnings as a home-based business, the company now has a License to Operate from the FDA with 10 products registered with the agency. This is an assurance to the consumers that their products are safe and of high quality.

Aside from their own farm where they practice natural and organic agriculture, Al Di Foods also source their raw materials from partner farmers in Panay and Negros Islands, providing jobs and sustainable livelihood in these communities.

Al Di Foods continuously develop new products for the health-conscious Filipino so expect more innovative premium blend teas and beverages. Al Di Foods will be joining the 12.12 Sale so make sure to follow their online stores at the links below.
