DepEd fetes 20 outstanding students of Iloilo

The Department of Education (DepEd) is recognizing 10 graduating outstanding elementary pupils and another 10 graduating outstanding students of Iloilo for Academic Year 2012-2013.

The search for 20 outstanding students of Iloilo in both categories is dominated by students of Iloilo City-based public and private schools.

The awarding ceremony will be on March 15, 2013, starting at 2 p.m. at the Monfort Hall, Department of Education Building in La Paz, Iloilo City.

The 10 outstanding elementary school pupils of Iloilo are Aubrey Beatrice B. Carnaje of Sped Integrated School for Exceptional Children, Ma. Samantha Ysabel L. Co of Ateneo de Iloilo SMCS, Fergie John O. Frange of Central Philippine University, Heather Angelique Parangan of West Visayas State University ILS, Eunice Lyn F. Salistre of Solomon Integrated School de Iloilo, Nancy Nicole T. Supeña of Sto. Domingo Elementary School and Dominic S. Yap of PAREF Westbridge School Inc., all based in Iloilo City.

The other outstanding pupils are Rose Mae L. Andresito of Sta. Barbara Central Elementary School, Daryl John A. Libiano of Cabatuan Parochial School, and Leif Mathieu T. Tobias of Cabatuan Central Elementary School.

The 10 outstanding secondary school students of Iloilo are Kelly A. Binder of the University of San Agustin, Kevin Friedrich Y. Chan of Iloilo Scholastic Academy, Caryl Joanne A. Nonato of SPED – Integrated School for Exceptional Children, Blessed Bea T. Plondaya of Saint Joseph School (Iloilo) Inc., Nizza Ann E. Regalado of Ateneo de Iloilo SMCS, Jose Roy E. Santos Jr. of Central Philippine University, and Bianca Patrice S. Syching of Iloilo Central Commercial HS, all based in Iloilo City.

The other outstanding high school students are Jovie Anne R. Cabangal of Barotac Viejo National High School, Mary Clarence G. Madero of Pavia National High School, and Alyssa Jude M. Montalban of Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School.
