DSWD hiring encoders

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Western Visayas (Region 6) is once again hiring encoders and verifiers for third round of the Listahanan Program.

The Listahanan or the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) is an information management system that identifies who and where the poor are in the country.

The data collected is made available to national government agencies, local government units, and other social protection stakeholders so that poor families will be given priorities in government programs.

In a report via Philippine News Agency, DSWD 6’s regional field coordinator Fe Gencianeo said that the Listahanan 3 program targets to assess a total of 1,392,085 households all over the region.

To qualify for the job vacancies, one must be a senior high school graduate or completed at least 1 year of college education, computer literate, with above average encoding speed, fast learner, professional, reliable, and a team player; and must have initiatives to learn and contribute to the success of the Listahanan program.

DSWD Field Office 6 has prepared an online application for interested and qualified applicants. The following documentary requirements need to be uploaded to the system: Application Letter, Resume and Transcript of Records in PDF format.
