Globe Telecom opened 2026 with a strong statement about the future of connectivity during the Q1 edition of The Blueprint by Globe, its flagship quarterly media event held at The Globe Tower. The gathering highlighted how the company is redefining connectivity—not merely as internet speed, but as consistent, reliable, affordable, and accessible digital service for every Filipino.
Leading the presentation was Globe President and CEO Carl Cruz, who emphasized the company’s vision of “Every Filipino Connected.” He described connectivity as the country’s fifth essential utility, alongside water, electricity, transportation, and telecommunications infrastructure—an indispensable lifeline that bridges opportunity, resilience, and inclusive growth.
With the theme Every Filipino Connected, Globe unveiled a series of milestones and innovations aimed at ensuring that Filipinos across the archipelago can fully participate in the digital economy.
One of the key highlights was Globe’s pioneering partnership with Starlink’s Direct-to-Cell satellite technology. Following a successful live pilot trial, Globe and Starlink are now preparing to expand testing to additional locations and operational scenarios. The initiative aims to bring connectivity to areas that traditionally struggle with network coverage, particularly remote and geographically isolated communities.

The company also celebrated its recognition by Ookla® as the Philippines’ most reliable mobile and broadband network, achieving consistency scores that set new benchmarks for the industry. The recognition reinforces Globe’s commitment to deliver on its three strategic pillars for 2026: “Connectivity You Can Count On,” “Connectivity for Every Filipino,” and “Experience Globe Connectivity.”
According to Roche Vandenberghe, Globe’s Chief Marketing Officer, the recognition validates the company’s ongoing investments in network infrastructure.
“This recognition affirms that Globe’s investments are delivering real benefits for our customers—reliable connectivity they can count on every day for work, learning, and commerce,” she said. “Consistency is more than a benchmark; it is the backbone of a digital economy where MSMEs thrive, families stay connected, and communities build resilience.”
Beyond network performance, The Blueprint by Globe also highlighted several customer-focused, business-driven, and community initiatives that expand the role of connectivity in everyday life.
Empowering Businesses with AI and Cloud
Through Globe Business, the company introduced the country’s first fully managed enterprise-grade data streaming platform in partnership with Confluent. The solution enables organizations to harness real-time intelligence without large capital expenditures.
Globe also showcased the Globe Omnichannel Cloud Contact Center (GOCCC) with Call Center Studio, designed to enable AI-powered customer engagement through Google Cloud-hosted infrastructure. The initiative aims to democratize advanced digital capabilities for enterprises of all sizes.
Globe At Home: Internet as a Modern Utility
Globe At Home continues to position fiber connectivity as a modern household essential—as vital as water or electricity. Through its Built-in Broadband initiative, fiber ports are embedded directly into new property developments, ensuring homes are ready for instant connectivity.
Complementing this infrastructure is Globe’s AI-driven digital solutions and a 24-hour Care Squad, which provides continuous technical support and delivers what the company calls “Digital Peace of Mind” for Filipino households.
Seamless Connectivity with Mobile + Home Advantage
Globe is also strengthening its ecosystem through Globe Mobile and Globe At Home Advantage, allowing customers to enjoy seamless connectivity both at home and on the move.
Subscribers who pair GFiber Postpaid with Globe Mobile Postpaid can unlock up to ₱500 in monthly savings for a year, while Prepaid and TM users gain access to exclusive promos and additional data offers that make everyday connectivity more accessible and rewarding.
TM Marks 25 Years of Connecting Filipinos
TM, Globe’s value brand, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, honoring millions of ka-TM subscribers nationwide. The milestone will be marked with anniversary deals, exciting rewards, and on-ground caravans across communities.
True to its diskarte spirit, TM continues to deliver affordable and reliable connectivity, bringing “tuwa at tatag” to Filipinos across the country.
Lifestyle Innovation with Platinum GPlan
Globe also expanded its premium offerings with the Platinum GPlan, featuring a partnership with PAL Mabuhay Miles. The program is the first in the market to reward customers with airline miles alongside connectivity benefits, blending lifestyle privileges with digital services.
GoGIVE: Turning Connectivity into Social Impact
Connectivity is also becoming a channel for social good. Through the GoGIVE initiative, Globe Prepaid users have generated over 4 billion hearts through the GlobeOne app, translating into more than 840 million donations for various advocacies.
Working with partners such as Ayala Foundation, Rise Against Hunger Philippines, Pawssion Project, and the Philippine Eagle Foundation, GoGIVE supports programs ranging from hunger relief and environmental conservation to disaster response and community development.
Globe Chief Commercial Officer Darius Delgado underscored the broader significance of connectivity in today’s world.
“Connectivity today is a lifeline,” he said. “We want to ensure every Filipino—whether in bustling cities or the most remote barangays—has access to reliable and consistent digital services. More than speed, we are building trust, inclusivity, and resilience into the very fabric of our network.”
Through The Blueprint by Globe, the company continues to position itself at the forefront of the country’s digital transformation—helping build a future where connectivity fuels opportunity, resilience, and sustainable growth for all Filipinos.
