Iloilo City Community College entrance exam on May 7

The Iloilo City Community College (ICCC) is now accepting applications for entrance exam on May 7.

ICCC offers free tuition for two courses Bachelor of Science (BS) in Travel Management and BS in Office Administration.

Catalina Sanico, Associate Professor V of ICCC said, opening of classes in June was already approved but they have to discuss the directive from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recommending the opening of classes for the SY 2019-2020 in August.

Applicants are required to accomplish an application form and comply with the requirements, and should be submitted to the Office of the Registrar, ICCC, Injap Building, corner Tiolas-M.H. Del Pilar Streets, Molo for initial screening.

Applicant must be a resident and a graduate of Iloilo City public schools; must have a General Weighted Average of 82 percent or better and no grades below 80 percent in English, Math and Science; and parents are bonafide residents and voters of Iloilo City.

“To those interested to study at ICCC, do not hesitate to visit the City College. Just bring your credentials from your school so that we will accommodate you and there will be a scheduled interview,” Sanico said.

Qualifiers will be determined from the applicant’s cumulative scores of High School general weighted average, ICAT, SATA, and interview results.

In admitting students, ICCC also prioritizes those who are graduates of K to 12 programs from public schools, life-long learners, college drop-outs due to financial reasons and products of alternative learning system (ALS).
