Iloilo City will take center stage on April 28–29, 2026 as the Sustainability Summit Iloilo gathers sustainability professionals, business leaders, and policymakers at Solana Premiere for two days of dialogue, collaboration, and action.
Organized by Sustainability PH in partnership with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) – Iloilo Chapter, the summit aims to bridge global sustainability targets with practical, community-based solutions for Iloilo and the rest of Western Visayas.
At the heart of the event is “Sustainability Unplugged,” a signature format that moves away from conventional conference lectures and instead fosters open, authentic conversations among stakeholders. Inspired by the Filipino bilao, the summit embraces the idea of people gathering around a shared space to exchange ideas, resources, and solutions. The symbol reflects the event’s vision of collective knowledge—where each participant plays a role in shaping a more sustainable future.
More than just a venue for discussion, the summit comes at a crucial time for Philippine enterprises as sustainability becomes an essential part of risk management, transparency, and competitiveness. With the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) moving toward mandatory sustainability reporting, the gathering provides a timely forum for businesses to better understand and prepare for the changing regulatory landscape. PCCI – Iloilo Chapter is expected to play a key role in helping local enterprises navigate these shifts with greater clarity and confidence.
The summit also underscores a strong regional connection through Prometheus, the exclusive partner of Sustainability PH for the Visayas and Mindanao. Based in Iloilo City, Prometheus brings a local perspective to global sustainability frameworks, ensuring that discussions remain grounded in the economic, social, and environmental realities of Southern Philippines. Its involvement highlights Iloilo’s growing role as a regional hub for innovation, resilience, and responsible urban development.
Over the course of two days, participants can expect a mix of plenary sessions, focus-group discussions, and capacity-building modules designed to turn broad sustainability goals into concrete action. Conversations will cover sustainability integration in business and governance, urban planning, community development, digitalization, and the role of technology in accelerating decarbonization. Sessions will also spotlight sustainable infrastructure and region-specific opportunities in Western Visayas.
By bringing together leaders from various sectors, the Sustainability Summit Iloilo seeks to ensure that attendees leave not only inspired, but equipped with practical tools and a clearer roadmap for ESG integration and long-term sustainability planning.
As Iloilo City continues to rise as one of the country’s leading urban centers, the summit reinforces the importance of making growth both inclusive and responsible. Through the collaboration of Sustainability PH and PCCI – Iloilo Chapter, national environmental and governance goals are given a stronger local anchor—one that reflects the needs, aspirations, and realities of Western Visayas.
The Sustainability Summit Iloilo is co-presented by Prometheus, JCI Regatta, and Daily Guardian.
