Another homegrown Ilonggo business has taken a major step toward reliable and modern energy service as Iloilo Supermart–Jibao-an, Pavia successfully transferred its power source to MORE Electric and Power Corporation on January 23, 2026.
Owned by the Que family of Iloilo, the Pavia branch of Iloilo Supermart is now the first mall within MORE Power’s expanded franchise area to transition from its former local electric cooperative—marking a significant milestone in the company’s growing presence in Iloilo Province.
The power migration ceremony was led by Iloilo Supermart Corporate Treasurer John Alexander C. Que, together with MORE Power Vice President for Customer Care and Marketing Ma. Cristina Cabalhin, and Assistant Vice President for Network Development and Operations Christopher Serojano.

The transition underscores the increasing demand for a robust, efficient, and future-ready power distribution system, as Iloilo City and the surrounding municipalities continue to attract investments and commercial growth.
“We are committed to diligently serving consumers in our extended franchise area, and we are set to onboard more than ten additional customers within the first quarter of the year,” said Roel Castro, President and CEO of MORE Power. “Everything is possible when our mission drives us to deliver outstanding service and customer care. We look forward to building stronger partnerships and collaborations with Iloilo Supermart.”
The migration traces its roots to the franchise expansion bill filed on September 20, 2021, by 2nd District Representative Michael Gorriceta and 4th District Representative Braeden John Biron, which aimed to bring improved and more reliable power distribution services to a wider area of Iloilo.
With the successful transition of Iloilo Supermart Pavia, MORE Power further demonstrates its capacity to deliver quality service, modern infrastructure, and dependable power solutions—reinforcing its position as a preferred energy partner for businesses that rely on uninterrupted electricity for daily operations.
