Infra projects get funds from Good Governance Award

Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog and Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG-6) regional director Evelyn A. Trompeta together with city DILG chief Atty. Ferdinand Panes signed June 6 the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the implementation of infrastructure development projects in the metropolis.

The city is a recipient of P3-M Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) from DILG after winning the Seal of Good Housekeeping Award in 2011 for having an accountable, transparent, and quality good governance.

“The award is a clear manifestation of the reforms and innovations in good governance the city government is continuously practicing,” stressed Mabilog.

The PCF is allocated for construction/widening/concreting/asphalt overlay of roads/public alley at Barangay PHHC Blk. 22, Mandurriao; construction/renovation/repair of open court/gym at Brgy. Balantang, Jaro; and construction/rehabilitation/repair of Brgy. Health Center at Brgy. San Pedro, Molo.
