MINISTOP opens in Iloilo City

Ilonggos will have more convenience as MINISTOP opens its newest stores in Iloilo City on July 24, 2014!

Robinsons Convenience Stores Inc (RCSI), the local franchise holder of Ministop in the Philippines, continues to expand its chain of 24-hour convenience store with the opening of 2 new branches in Robinson’s Place Iloilo (beside Starbucks) and in IPSTA Building, Luna Street, Lapaz (front of WVSU).

Iloilo City Congressman Jerry Treñas and Mayor Jed Mabilog led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, together with Robina Gokongwei-PE of the Robinsons company.

“Iloilo has been chosen as the second location in the Visayas region due to its rapid economic growth and dynamic business environment,” wrote Robinsons Convenience Stores Inc. president and COO Robina Gokongwei-Pe and general manager Roena P. Sarte.

The Robinson’s branch opened at 12 noon, and the Lapaz branch at 3PM.

Ministop is a 24-hour convenience store chain and is a franchise of Ministop Co. Ltd., one of the largest convenience store chains in Japan.

The store carries a wide assortment of convenience merchandise ranging from food to non-food, with an extensive selection of ready-to-eat products, such as fried chicken, kariman, rice toppers, soft serve ice cream, dimsum, sandwiches, pastas, pastries, salads, cakes, and other ready-to-eat items.
