Qualimed’s flashmob surprises SM City shoppers

A small commotion which turned into a dancing crowd surprised unsuspecting weekend shoppers at SM City Iloilo in Mandurriao district on Sunday.

Staff and members of Qualimed Hospital Iloilo wearing blue t-shirts with tagline “Alagang Abot-Kaya” brought a festive mode inside the mall by dancing to a few tunes which literally shook the upper ground floor area.

Led by WVSU-PESCAR artists, the flashmob of over 50 persons promoted the hospital as a world-class healthcare facility with state-of-the-art amenities offering affordable services accessible to broad C socioeconomic class. De-kalidad nga Serbisyo, Masarangan nga Presyo!

Marketing Officer Kathleen Sadio said: “We want to dispel the notion that we are an expensive hospital. In fact, Ilonggos can avail our services at a rate 20-30% lower than other private hospitals in the city.”

Qualimed Hospital – Women’s and Children’s Center is the first new hospital of Qualimed Health Network owned and operated by Mercado General Hospital, Inc. and Ayala Land, Inc.

The first phase is equipped with 40 beds and 9 specialty group practice clinics, the latest in radiology and medical imaging, dialysis, inpatient care, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical rehabilitation, laboratory diagnostics and emergency care.

Its second phase consists of conversion to a 100-bed general hospital by the third quarter of 2015.

Qualimed Hospital Iloilo is strategically located at Ayala Atria Park District along Don Donato Pison Avenue, Brgy. San Rafael Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
