In celebration of its 80th anniversary and the 58th Dinagyang Festival, Sarabia Jewelry proudly launches the Sarabia Jewelry Design Competition 2026, inviting Ilonggo designers to craft original jewelry pieces that reflect the soul of Iloilo.

With the theme “Hugpong sang Bulawan”, the competition calls for designs that embody unity, heritage, and brilliance infused with the timeless elegance of gold and diamonds. This initiative honors Sarabia’s legacy as Iloilo’s premier jewelry house since 1945, while spotlighting the next generation of visionary artisans.

Competition Highlights:

  • Open to all creatives – individuals or teams (up to 3 members)
  • No registration fee
  • Submission Period: November 1 to December 20, 2025
  • Final Judging & Exhibit: January 24–26, 2026 (Dinagyang Week)
  • Prizes: ₱20,000 + trophy for the Grand Winner; 14 consolation prizes of ₱5,000 + certificate

Participants must submit one original brooch design that integrates gold or diamonds and reflects Iloilo’s identity. Accepted formats include hand-drawn sketches, digital renderings, and optional 3D mockups. A concept statement and design brief are required, with anonymity protocols in place to ensure fair judging.

Judging Criteria:

  • Creativity & Originality – 30%
  • Cultural Relevance – 25%
  • Craftsmanship & Feasibility – 25%
  • Presentation & Concept – 20%

Winning designs may be produced in collaboration with Sarabia Jewelry, with full designer credit. This is more than a contest, it’s a chance to be part of a legacy.
