Science Foundation calls for 2018 Kid Innovators

The Philippine Foundation for Science and Technology, a DOST Certified Foundation, is implementing a program called 2018 Search for Wyeth Nutrition Kid Innovators in partnership with Wyeth Philippines, Inc. (WPI).

Wyeth launched the nationwide Search for the Wyeth® Nutrition Kid Innovators in celebration of Wyeth® Nutrition’s 100 years of advancing nutrition science. The Search is among the advocacy programs of Wyeth® Nutrition to help nurture every child’s potential for greatness. It helps empower kids to make a difference by sparking their innate curiosity and nurturing their love for science and passion for innovation.

The aforementioned program is divided into two categories namely Upcoming Kid Innovators and Kid Innovators. The former aims to develop and nurture the innate inquisitiveness and curiosity of young children to become future kid innovators while the latter will recognize innovative science-related projects related to Nutrition, Health, and Wellness.

Last 2017, the Search introduced an expanded set of mechanics and a new category that made the program more meaningful and inclusive. These developments widen our reach to encourage more parents and younger kids to explore the wonders of science and the power of innovation.

Now, kids from ages 6 to 14 can participate in the Search by submitting their science projects and activities related to nutrition, health, and wellness.

The grand winner for Upcoming Kid Innovators will receive Php 25, 000.00 cash plus Php 25,000.00 worth of Science and Technology books and toys and Php 10,000.00 cash for the coach-adviser.

On the other hand, grand winner for Kid Innovators will receive Php 100,000.00 cash plus Php 100,000.00 worth of Science and Technology showcase for the school and Php 10,000.00 cash for the coach-adviser.
