Subaru opens showroom, service facility in Iloilo City

Subaru, Japanese premium brand of cars, opens its newest dealership in the country on Wednesday, July 20 along MacArthur Drive, Tabuc Suba, Jaro, Iloilo City.

Owned and operated by AllWheel Automotive Inc., the dealership features a 5-car showroom display, conference rooms, lounge area, releasing area and a fully equipped service facility standing on a 2,000 square meter property.

Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog, who led the ribbon-cutting ceremony together with Subaru Iloilo top executives, welcomed the opening of the facility.

“I’d like to thank Subaru for coming to Ilolo City,” Mabilog said. “Their presence here only shows the progressiveness and the potential of the city.”

Subaro cars are known for its Boxer engine which provides excellent acceleration response with high level of torque even at low speeds. Its flat design and layout allows maximum transfer of power and offers quick handling response and confident cornering.

Subaru models is also known for its safety. It has unique ring-shaped reinforcement frame body and it uses high tensile steel which allows reduction in weight, higher collision safety performance which absorbs impact from all directions and enchance passenger safety.

“Subaru is the only brand in the world right now that has 5-star safety rating across the entire model lineup,” says Subaru Iloilo Vice President Brian Chua.

“These ratings come from US National Highway Transport Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and of course the international new cars assessment programs such as EuroImpact, as well as assessments from Japan and Australia.”

Car buyers may choose from their model lineup which includes Forester, Impreza, Legacy, Levorg, WRX, Subaru BRZ, WRX STI, Subaru XV and Outback.

Subaru Iloilo is open from 8:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Mondays to Sundays.
