Tahum: A Pop-Up Festival returns for its 8th year with its most ambitious edition yet, happening January 30 to February 1, 2026, at the Iloilo Convention Center.
Presented by the Assumption Iloilo Educational Foundation, Inc. (AIEF) and Assumption Iloilo, Tahum 2026 brings together more than 75 carefully curated exhibitors from across the Philippines—showcasing the diversity, creativity, and purpose-driven spirit of Filipino entrepreneurship.
From Western Visayas provinces such as Iloilo, Antique, Capiz, and the Negros Islands, to Cebu, Bohol, and key creative hubs in Luzon, the festival highlights thoughtfully designed products ranging from clothing, jewelry, shoes, and home pieces to lifestyle essentials for both everyday wear and special occasions.
More than a shopping destination, Tahum is a movement with a mission. One hundred percent of proceeds from the festival directly support scholars from Assumption communities across Panay, making every purchase a meaningful contribution to education.
“Tahum was created from a simple belief—that when creativity and compassion come together, lives can truly change,” shared AIEF President Marjorie Florete. “Every exhibitor, every visitor, and every purchase becomes part of a larger story of hope, opportunity, and education for our scholars.”
Returning Favorites and New Creative Voices
Tahum 2026 welcomes back pioneering exhibitors who have grown alongside the festival over the years. Among them is FilipiNeo, the ready-to-wear brand of Sir Nono Palmos, widely regarded as the father of hablon and a native of Miag-ao. This year, FilipiNeo introduces “Breeze,” a new collection inspired by movement, lightness, and Filipino craftsmanship.
Also returning are beloved creative brands such as BJ Chavez, known for bold, sculptural statement accessories, and Lakat by Creative Definitions, a sustainable Philippine sneaker brand recognized for eco-friendly footwear crafted from local materials like pineapple leaf fiber (piña) and cotton.

While some exhibitors have been part of Tahum since as early as 2019, the 2026 edition promises fresh designs, new stories, and renewed purpose from each participant.
The festival also opens its doors to exciting new exhibitors, including Farah Abu, whose statement earrings and accessories—featured from Paris to Hollywood—make their Iloilo debut at Tahum. Joining her are Matthew and Melka, known for modern, comfort-driven lifestyle pieces, and Speranza, a purpose-led bag brand defined by structure, function, and understated elegance.
Namit: Celebrating Flavors Close to the Ilonggo Heart
Beyond fashion and design, Tahum once again features Namit, its dedicated food section celebrating flavors close to the Ilonggo heart.
Returning crowd-favorite Gourmet by El Toro Tapas & Bar comes back after a successful appearance last year, while first-time participant La Maison du Leganes, a French bistro from Leganes, brings refined comfort food to the festival.

Guests can also enjoy well-loved delicacies from Capiz, including Midway, Nanay Patring’s, Victoria’s, and more—making Namit a destination in itself.
A Space for Art, Expression, and Community

Tahum 2026 will feature a dedicated Art Space, showcasing works by more than 40 visual artists, primarily from Iloilo. The collection spans painting, mixed media, and sculpture, and is carefully curated under the guidance of Francesca Golez, ensuring a thoughtful presentation of contemporary local art.
Echoes of H.O.P.E.
This year’s theme, “Echoes of H.O.P.E. (Harnessing Opportunities and Promises through Education),” marks AIEF’s 50 years of service, celebrating education as a powerful tool for transformation.
Tahum was born from this very purpose—to uplift scholars from Assumption communities such as Assumption Passi, Assumption Iloilo, Sta. Rita Academy (Sibalom, Antique), and the Assumption Socio-Educational Center (ASEC) in Iloilo City.
To date, over 740 scholars have been supported by AIEF.
“Education plants seeds of hope that continue to grow long after the classroom,” shared Sr. Fe Emmanuel Beltran, R.A., Head of the Assumption Apostolate. “Through Tahum, we see how generosity, creativity, and faith come together to transform not only individual lives, but entire communities.”
