Ilonggos will soon enjoy the thrill and excitement of a water park as Waterworld Iloilo hopes to open in Centennial Resort Hotel And Convention Center in summer of 2016.
UPDATE: Waterworld Iloilo will open on December 16, 2016.
Ms. Dyan Tiu See first divulged this exciting development in her Facebook page by posting an image of Waterworld Iloilo, adding that the Centennial Resort is now under renovation to house this newest leisure place.
No details yet on the master development plan or renders of the resort, but See said that it will have lazy river and other features that will give splashing experience to guests of all ages.
Update: Ms. Dyan posted some photos of under construction indoor facilities of Waterworld.
“This is NOT EVEN HALF of it! This is just the INDOOR. Watch out for the OUTDOOR facilities soon!” Tiu exclaimed in Facebook. “Get ready Iloilo! We are almost there!”
Centennial Resort Hotel and Convention Center sits on a 4-hectare complex located at the former Marikudo Country Club in Alta Tierra Village, Jaro.
