The Iloilo City Government has deployed more than 200 compliance officers to strictly enforce health safety standards as preventive measure against coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Mayor Jerry P. Treñas stressed they will impose strict compliance to wearing of face mask in public and physical distancing.
“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we deployed personnel as our Iloilo City Compliance Monitoring Team (CMT). This team ensures that all establishments are following the new rules and regulations such as the: wearing of face masks; sanitizing of hands before and after transactions; and observing proper distancing,” said Treñas.
