Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas and Congresswoman Jam Jam Baronda welcomed billionaire Enrique Razon Jr. in the metro.
Razon is the majority owner of MORE Power Iloilo, the electricity distribution utility in the city. He is also the chairman and CEO of the International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), the Philippine port-handling giant, Bloomberry Resorts Corp., developer of Solaire Resort and Casino, and Manila Water.
“He brought us MORE Power which provided the cheapest electrical rate for the Ilonggos,” said Treñas in his Facebook post.
Treñas hinted that the third richest man in the country is in Iloilo to “collaborate in bringing the best service to the Ilonggos.”
“We are very excited to talk about the next steps towards progress through our strong partnership,” he added.
