City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas together with his wife Rosalie participated in the painting of colorful Iloilo mural on the wall along bike lane in Brgy. Sambag in Jaro district Sunday.
Representing the Iloilo City Government, Treñas has partnered with Ilonggo artist Rock Drilon and Fine Arts students of University of San Agustin in beautifying open spaces in the metropolis.
“Literally painting my dreams for our beloved City,” said Treñas in a Facebook post.
“As part of my project in making our city a beautiful one, I cannot help but join our fellow young artists as they were finishing our first collaboration with the city.”
“Let us together help make our city a beautiful one as we aim to be Top 3 Highly Urbanized Cities by 2028. Level up Iloilo! Uswag Iloilo!,” Treñas added.
