Twenty-nine consumers of MORE Power received refund checks equivalent to the exact Bill Deposit they paid when they applied for a connection with the power company three years ago.
Smiles filled the room as customers, including Elvira, received their checks—proof of their commitment to paying their electricity bills on time and without delay.
According to Elvira, there’s no secret to staying connected: it’s all about being responsible with payments. “Pag-abot sang bill, dapat bayaran gid dayon para wala na delay,” she shared, emphasizing that settling bills promptly helps avoid disconnection and additional costs.
Other consumers also shared their experiences and the challenges they overcame to ensure their utility bills were paid on time.
“Gahimakas gid kami sang duha sang bana ko para mabaydan ang amon bill sa MORE Power,” said Yolanda, highlighting the sacrifices she and her husband made to stay on top of their payments.
For many recipients, the refund came as a welcome financial boost. Jesus Diaz Llorico already has a plan for his refund. “Idugang ko sa kasal sang bata ko sa June,” he shared.
Retired Ilonggos who have settled in Iloilo also noted the significant improvement in service since MORE Power took over.
“MORE is something else—definitely good service,” remarked Jose Dorego Jr.
This marks the 21st batch of consumers who have received their Bill Deposit refunds, with amounts ranging from ₱2,500 to ₱8,000, depending on their type of connection.
