Mark your calendars for the unveiling of realme C55 and first-selling offers

realme Philippines, the two-year consecutive champion according to Canalys and IDC sell-in reports published 2021 & 2022, officially announces that the much-awaited realme C55 will be arriving to the local market. Make sure to block off your calendars because the launch of this latest addition to the C-Series lineup is set on April 18 at 6PM via a livestream on realme’s official Facebook and TikTok pages.

By introducing the realme C55, the brand once again disrupts the entry-level smartphone market with fresh-looking unique designs made available to Filipinos. The realme C55 is the first globally mass-produced Android smartphone to feature the Mini Capsule.
“Here at realme, we make it a priority to stay committed with our mission to deliver segment-leading features in camera, storage, charging and design. The realme C55’s Mini Capsule is a testament that an elevated yet holistic mobile experience is possible even at an entry-level price point,” says Jane Yan, VP for Marketing.

realme C55: The Stylish Champion

The realme C55 is positioned as the champion of the segment as it brings in strategic upgrades to the C-Series that go beyond expectations, aiming to level up the user experience. realme is making a bold breakthrough by introducing Android’s first Mini Capsule. This feature is wrapped around the punch-hole of the selfie camera cutout, expanding animation formed into a capsule to help track Charging and Battery Status, Data Cap Usage as well as Step Tracking.

In addition, the realme C55 is the thinnest C-Series phone up to date with a 7.89mm Ultra Slim Design. The latest smartphone also features a squared off, boxier design as compared to the realme C33 and realme C35. This enables a comfortable grip and in-hand feeling.

When it comes to display, the realme C55 boasts the largest display on a realme C-Series phone with 6.7” (from 6.6”) with an FHD+ resolution that improved from previous iterations of the realme C-Series excluding realme C35. Moreover, the realme C55 will be the first to utilize a 90Hz refresh rate from the C-Series lineup.

The realme C55 sports a modern aesthetic design that comes in three stunning colors: Sunshower, Rainy Night, and Rainforest. It will also be made available in two storage variants: 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB.
