SM Cares Advocates for Creating Safe Spaces for Breastfeeding with Free to Feed Photo Campaign

This National Breastfeeding Awareness Month, SM Cares, the corporate social responsibility arm of SM Supermalls, proudly announces its ongoing campaign, “Free to Feed: Creating Safe Spaces for Breastfeeding,” under the SM Cares Advocacy on Women and Breastfeeding.

To further celebrate and promote how communities can create a welcoming environment for breastfeeding even outside of our homes, SM Cares has launched the “Free to Feed” photography contest where photo enthusiasts and Super Moms are encouraged to capture beautiful moments of breastfeeding anywhere within SM mall and tenant areas. Entries are accepted until August 21, 2023, and the winners will be announced on August 28, 2023. Participants may send their entries through this link: www.bit.ly/FreeToFeedAtSM

A photo exhibit roadshow and forum will also take place across selected SM malls. The roadshow will be held throughout August at SM City Davao, SM City Pampanga, SM City Dasmarinas, SM City Iloilo, and SM North EDSA, to serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of supporting mothers in their breastfeeding journey.

At SM City Iloilo, the program will be on August 19, 3pm at the Lower Ground Floor near Lechon Haus. Meanwhile, 10am of the same day, the Breastfeeding Ilonggas will hold Hakab Na! at the venue.
