St. Paul’s Hospital of Iloilo, Inc. in partnership with the Marian Rose World Mission and LIG Global Foundation, Inc. formally launched the Cervical Cancer Awareness and Prevention Center (CECAP) Jan. 7.
The CECAP Center is the first in Western Visayas. It will help Ilonggo women in early detection and treatment of Cervical Cancer to stop its widespread. This effort is also in cooperation with the City Government of Iloilo.
Also, dedical doctors from the Marian Rose World Mission paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog at City Hall on January 6.
Mayor Jed warmly welcomed them as it is in fact their second time to visit the city following a surgical mission they had here a year ago.
“We are always thankful to Marian Rose for placing Iloilo in their priority especially in giving healthcare service to less fortunate Ilonggos,” he said.
In January last year, the LIG Global Foundation and the Marian Rose World Mission conducted a surgical mission in partnership with St. Paul’s Hospital for 50 indigent residents.
Mabilog was then assured by the group that they will do the surgical mission annually as they found the city conducive for their work.
