The children of Balasan and Lemery in Northern Iloilo were one of the beneficiaries of the the SM Cares Bears of Joy from SM City Iloilo.
The shoppers and those who supported the project are a big part of this endeavor. For only P200.00, shoppers purchased a pair of Bears of Joy wherein they got to keep 1 and the other will be donated to the mall’s selected beneficiary/charity organization.
Through the generosity of these people, the SM Cares Bears of Joy has become a reflection of sharing–an ancillary channel of love sending warm hugs from one person to those in need.
Through the One Meal group’s assistance in identifying the said beneficiaries, the aim to make more children happy by supporting the charity drive, surely brought joy to every child who received it.
