DOH-6 hiring nurses for NDP 2016

The Department of Health Regional Office 6 – Western Visayas is once again hiring registered nurses for Nurse Deployment Project (NDP) 2016.

The Department of Health-Regional Office VI is now accepting applicants for Nurse 1 under its Nurse Deployment Project (NDP) 2016.

NDP is health department’s program which hires registered nurses for deployment in rural health units (RHU) to improve local health systems that will support the country’s attainment of the Universal Health Care or “Kalusugan Pangkalahatan”. Accepted nurses are given P18,549 monthly salary.

NDP nurses shall perform the functions of a Public Health Nurse. Likewise, they will be developed as trainers and supervisors of the Community Health Teams (CHTs ) of the DOH.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • With updated PRC license as a registered nurse
  • With good moral character
  • Willing to be assigned within the province of residence.

For Western Visayas, Director Marlyn Convocar, MD, MPH, CESO IV announced that the application will be done online via DOH-6 website here: NDP Region 6 E-Recruitment site. Submission of online applications is on October 24-27, 2015.
