An Ilongga beauty queen representing the Philippines has won one of the major title in the recently concluded Mrs. Asia International 2015 pageant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Winlove Dupit McLaren was crowned Mrs. Asia International Metropolitan 2015 after competing against 18 other lovely contestants across Asia in a grand coronation night at Galaxy Convention Center, Kuala Lumpur on June 13, 2015.

The graduate of West Visayas State University and Lapaz native also got the Alex Liu Award, the highest citation named after the pageant owner and president.

“I was very happy and thankful when they announced my name as the new Mrs. Asia International Metropolitan 2015 and just when I thought everything is done, they announced that there is one special award, the highest award of all, given by the owner and President of the ERM marketing and Mrs. Asia pageant, the Alex Liu award and unexpectedly, surprisingly, they called my name again,” McLaren posted in her blog.

“I am the first ever in the history of Mrs. Asia that was given the Alex Liu award and with this I feel very, very special,” she added.

A mother of two, Mrs. McLaren currently resides in Malaysia and works as professional makeup artist in Singapore.

Mrs. Asia International is a pageant for married and senior ladies from Asian countries in which they may showcase their beauty, talents and success in a more contemporary and glamorous approach. It successfully fosters greater communication, culture, friendship and mutual understanding among all Asian people.
