Metro Iloilo Hospital and Medical Center Inc. (MIHMCI), a state-of-the-art healthcare facility at Metropolis Road in Tagbak, Jaro, is celebrating its first year of serving healthcare needs of the Ilonggos!

Founded in 2013, MIHMCI is a 110-bed capacity hospital in 6-storey complex established by Iloilo’s top medical doctors who envisioned an innovative and quality healthcare for the Ilonggos.

Metro Iloilo Hospital boasts of top notch facilities, such as the first ever computer-controlled pneumatic tube system to transport drugs, documents and specimen to and from laboratories, nurses stations, and cashiers.

It also has a fully integrated computerized electronic health record system, and an Out Patient Clinical Care (OPCC) is composed of 40 multi-specialty clinics with adjacent laboratory in one floor.

The hospital also has free wi-fi for patients in the premises, and wide parking spaces that could accommodate more than 100 vehicles.

Special Promos and Packages

In celebration of its 1st Year Anniversary this July 2019, MIHMCI aims to extend their quality healthcare services through its special promos and activities. They offer free services such as mammography, liver elastography, dental consultation, chest x-ray, pedia consultation, free bone scanning and an OB lecture by Dr. Gertrude Gelito and Dr. Donna Emetie Alindong.

In addition, they also have anniversary packages that benefited selected patients for UGI Endoscopy, Hemorrhoidectomy, Bilateral Tubal Ligation, Creation OFT AV Fistula, Diagnostic Cystoscopy, Release of trigger finger/carpal tunnel, throat exam and Iaryngoscopy, shaving of epidermal lesion, sigmoidoscopy, and herniodraphy.

The patients were carefully examined by their MIMHCI doctors to ensure that they were qualified for the procedure. One of the requirements to avail the said packages is an active PhilHealth membership.

Online Booking and Elite Card

MIHMCI will also be launching their partnership with Med Plus, a mobile app for online booking of doctor’s appointment. A big leap in innovation in the medical field of Iloilo, the mobile app improves the overall patient-doctor relationship because if offers the convenience of letting the patient book an appointment with their doctor in just a few taps.

To reward their loyal patients and stake holders, they will also be launching their MIHMCI Elite Card, a loyalty card with exclusive perks and discounts. The hospital has partnered with a lot of business establishments so that card holders may enjoy the perks and discounts upon presenting it. Ensuring that the best health care is made affordable to their loyal patients and partners, exclusive discounts will also be given hospital-wide when they present their MIMHCI Elite Card.

MIHMCI recently invited Iloilo press and bloggers for a Media Tour in their complex for familiarization of the hospital’s world class facilities and latest innovations.
