Ilonggos and tourists will soon see a beautiful organic garden and park in the heart of downtown Iloilo City.

Rey Delfin, spokesman of Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog, divulged in his Facebook account the sketch plan/perspective of the organic garden which will rise in the vacant lot owned by the Cacho family along JM Basa street.

The organic garden will be hands on project of the trainees on Urban Agritecture Botanical & Edible Gardening sponsored by the Remnant Institute of Alternative Medicine (RIAM) and to be funded by Department of Agriculture.

Remnant Institute is an non-government organization that deals with organic farming, and provides instructions and training on alternative medicine.
