The West Visayas State University Medical Center (aka Don Benito Hospital) in Jaro, Iloilo City is now hiring medical technologist and administrative aide.

WVSUMC added in its posting that the Medical Technologist I and Administrative Aide III will be assigned at the Newborn Screening Center – Visayas. The medical technologist will receive Salary Grade 11 compensation, while the administrative aide will be under contract of service.

Medical Technologist I

  • Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Public Health graduate
  • Experience: None required
  • Eligibility: RA 1080 (Medical Technologist)
  • Must have undergone 120 hours of relevant training at NSCV
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Willing to work overtime and under pressure
  • Pleasing personality and good people skills
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Excellent in oral and written communication skills
  • Talent in singing, dancing, drawing, etc is a plus

Other documents:

  • Transcript of Records/Diploma
  • Report of PRC Board Rating
  • Updated PRC ID
  • Certificate of trainings/seminars attended (2012 to present), if any
  • Certificate of employment or service records, if any
  • Report of Performance Evaluation from previous employer (January to June 2014 and July to December 2014) with numerical and adjectival ratings and with an attached copy of instrument/tool, if any

Administrative Aide III

  • Bachelor’s Degree graduate
  • CS Sub-professional/First level eligibility
  • 21 to 40 years old
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Must be physically fit
  • Must be of good moral character
  • Must be able to think well under pressure
  • Must be willing to work overtime
  • Willing to undergo 120 hours at NSC-Visayas
  • Excellent in oral and written communication skills

  • Certificate of trainings/seminars attended (2012 to present), if any
  • Certificate of employment or service records, if any
  • Report of Performance Evaluation from previous employer (January to June 2014 and July to December 2014) with numerical and adjectival ratings and with an attached copy of instrument/tool, if any
  • CS Sub-professional eligibility/First level eligibility
