City gov’t. employees get mid-year bonus

The City Hall has started giving out mid-year bonuses for its regular employees starting today.

At least 1,700 permanent employees of the local government are entitled to receive their mid-year bonus equivalent to one month salary.

“The bonus could help a lot of our employees especially for the education and school needs of their children this school year,” Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog said.

The City Government abided by Budget Circular 2016-3 that states the release of the mid-year bonus to all government employees shall not be earlier than May 15, 2016.
